• Every year, New London-Spicer Schools administer the Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment (MCA) tests in Reading, Math, and Science. These tests are used to meet federal and state legislative requirements. Starting in 3rd grade, the tests are administered to measure student performance relative to the Minnesota Academic Standards that specify what students in a particular grade should know and be able to do. This webpage will provide you with valuable information on all the assessments we administer throughout our district. It includes testing schedules, parent opt-out information, and ways you can prepare your child.

If you have specific questions about testing, please contact your child's school principal by calling 320.354.2252 and following the prompts.
