• Pick up Drop off and bussing

    If ever dropping off or picking up your student(s) during the school day, please be sure to notify the child's school building via Parent Portal Absence Manager. Students should also physically check in/out through the appropriate office. 

Elementary School K-4

  • Parent drop off begins at 7:50 a.m. and ends at 8:15 a.m. Breakfast is served until 8:10 a.m. School officially starts at 8:20 a.m. Our elementary has dedicated crossing guard staff each morning and afternoon. 

    Parent pick-up begins at: 2:45 p.m. 
    Buses leave for MS/HS at 2:56 p.m.
    Note: Parents utilizing after-school pick-up should park and wait for their child(ren) on the sidewalk-area just outside the main entrance to the building. Refer to map below.

Middle School and High School Grades 5-12

  • Before school drop off runs from 7:45-8:10 a.m. and afterschool pick up runs from 3:00-3:20 p.m. Parents should use the following route marked in red. The stars indicate the two entrances students should use.

    Parents should enter the south entrance of the parking lot, circle around the staff parking lot, and form a line along the sidewalk starting in front of the District Office and ending at the Performing Arts Center. We understand the desire to move more quickly through the pick-up line by driving through vacant parking spots. However, this has become an increased safety issue. 

    There should not be double lane parking.
    Stay on the pick-up route.
    Do not drive through vacant parking spots.
    Parents should not exit their vehicles.
    Parent pick-up at other doors is not permitted. Parents should not park in the Middle School parking lot during bus times (before and after school).
    Absolutely no parking in our Special Education Van loading area (Ag. Doors) during pick-up and drop off times. 

    High school students that wish to drive themselves to school must register for a parking permit. To do so, please use this form.

Prairie Meadows PreK

  • Drop off is from 7:30 a.m. – 8:20 a.m. Your child will be dropped off at the front door and staff will help them to their classroom. Parents/guardians do not enter the building. If your child arrives late, they need to arrive by 11:45 a.m. Drop offs after 11:45 a.m. will not be allowed as we adjust staffing for the day.

    Children must be picked up by 5:30 p.m.  Children will only be released to parents/guardians or people listed on the pick-up list. Please call or send a note to notify our staff if someone else will be picking up your child (even if that person is on the pick-up list). Staff may ask for identification if they are unfamiliar with the person picking up your child.
