On July 13, the New London-Spicer School Board voted unanimously to place an operating levy for Learning on the November 3, 2026 ballot. This decision was made after many months of reviewing enrollment trends, budget reductions, rising costs, and the impact of state funding that hasn’t kept pace with inflation.

The Board’s Goal

Protect classroom instruction, staffing, academic programs, activities, and school security – without increasing what residents are currently paying in school taxes.
