As the school year winds down, and our students look forward to summer, all of us will have a chance to reflect on this past year. As graduation approaches, our seniors embrace the exciting challenges and opportunities that their futures hold. In most cases, they will be working at jobs to make money for their upcoming college days, or will be adjusting to their futures in the world of work. What we hope we have accomplished, as parents and educators is that our kids have made good choices and are will prepared for their adult years. I hope that our children did not sit idle as the many opportunities afforded by their days in school to pass them by. I hope they are more pleased than disappointed by their efforts and choices they have made, and I hope as parents we are also satisfied that we helped guide our children to many of these rewarding activities.
