Food Shortages and Supply Chain Delays

Food Shortages and Supply Chain Delays May Put a Strain on our School Menus

We want to let you know that Food and Nutrition Services may experience food shortages and supply chain delays during the 2021-2022 school year that could put a strain on our school menus. We are working to place our food orders 6-8 weeks in advance, with the hope of securing the food items we need on the menu, but there are no guarantees we will receive the product when we need it or it may be delayed in arriving at our schools.

On occasion, we may have to change the menu without notice, based on the food items we can get, in order to comply with state and federal meal pattern regulations. We ask for your understanding and patience as we work through these food shortage and supply chain issues.
