NLS YES Club Gifted Money For Upcoming Projects

On January 10, the Educational Foundation presented a $250 check to the NLS YES (Youth Ecological Solutions) Club gifted by a local donor. YES Club is composed of 7th and 8th grade students that participate in meaningful environmental activities and projects. Over the years, the students have helped to create and maintain our school district's nature area.
When asked what the money will be used for, YES Advisor Marni Paffrath shared, "We'll put the money to good use with some of our upcoming projects. We have a Mill Pond area clean-up this spring, the students are working on YES week for the elementary students in April, and stenciling storm drains in the community."

The donations we receive from our local donors have a huge impact on the lives of New London-Spicer students. Thank you for your continued support and generosity. The NLS Educational Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization with a mission of enhancing the educational experiences of all New London-Spicer students.
