Thirteen NLS Students Compete at the MSHSL Regional Art Festival

Thirteen NLS art students traveled to St Cloud Cathedral to tour art businesses and compete in the MSHSL Regional Art Festival. All the students came home with awards, including 11 Superior Rankings, 6 Perfect Scores, 2 Best in Category Spotlight on the Arts Awards, and another Overall Best in Show Award!

Tegan Hoff's vase titled Erode, was the winner of the Spotlight in the Arts Best in Ceramics Award. Owen Lee and his Mosaic Table was the winner of the Spotlight in the Arts Best in Craft Award. Grace Gratton was the winner of the MSHSL Region 5A Best in Show Award for her Penny Portrait.  Our two Spotlight winners and the Best in Show winner are headed to the State Exhibition at the Perpich Center in Minneapolis on Saturday, May 13th.
