NLS Band Teacher, Caitlin Becks, chosen to march in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with The Band Directors Marching Band!
New London-Spicer's new Band Teacher, Caitlin Becks, was chosen as one of 400+ band directors across America to march in the 2023 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this coming November with the Saluting America's Band Directors marching band.
On 9/11, SABD ensemble released a virtual performance of "Amazing Grace" to honor our country's first responders. This virtual performance features 112 members of The Band Directors Marching Band from all across North America. The full 400-member marching band plans to perform “Amazing Grace” in person in New York City near the 9/11 Memorial on November 20, 2023, three days prior to marching in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade!
