Grade 5 Scientists Present Investigative Projects at Inquiry Conference Day
Our Grade 5 students are very excited about their investigation projects. They have participated in peer reviews and have been practicing to strengthen their 'science behind the project'. The Inquiry Conference Day is Thursday, May 4, in the Middle School Gym.
In the morning, Dr. John Benson of Ridgewater College will be here presenting on the "Magic of Chemistry". There will be two opportunities for our students to share their work with the community, other students, family and friends. It will be an awesome day of celebrating science!
We invite you to come, view the projects, and have our young scientists explain their work from 10:15a.m.-11:00a.m. and again at 11:45a.m.-12:25p.m. The boards will be on display in the gym from 12:30p.m.–1:20p.m. for viewing but our student scientists will not be available.
Community scientists will be facilitating a closed session asking questions and creating conversations with the students about their projects this will be held from 1:25p.m.-3:05p.m. and is not open to the public.
